At American Turf Pros, we have developed a multi-step cleaning process that will give lasting results to make your turf look and smell like the day it was installed.  We use state of the art electric-powered equipment to reduce emissions and noise.  Our products are biodegradable, safe for pets and children, and are eco friendly for a long lasting complete odor elimination. 

Step 1 We start with a through inspection of your turf checking for loose edges or seems, damaged areas and removing any weeds and large debris.

Step 2 Turf blooming with a power brush. This step decompacts the blades and infill to insure proper drainage within the turf and also dislodges any stuck debris in the blades for easier removal.  

Step 3 A magnetic sweep of your turf surface to remove any metal debris such as nails or staples that may have been left during the installation process.  

Step 4 We use an electric power broom to lift out any remaining debris.  Our specialized power broom uses rotating bristles to remove debris such as rocks, hair, and tree leaves and feeds it directly into the attached bag. We make multiple passes with the power broom ensures the turf is fluffed and free of debris.

Step 5 The turf is sprayed with a biodegradable pre cleaner.  Over time, artificial turf will become dull and lose its luster due to normal foot traffic, hard water stains, calcium, and dust. Our specialized chemicals restore the turf to its original appearance bringing back the look you had on the day it was installed.  

Step 6 Power washing the turf removes any dried spots of pet waste or stains. Additionally, this step will rid the turf of hard water or calcium stained areas, which are difficult to remove with a regular garden hose.

Step 7 We install special infill with antimicrobial properties fights odors and keeps turf blades upright.  Our infill treatment also absorbs bacteria in pet urine for long-term odor control.

Step 8 We perform a final power brooming. This step pushes the infill into the turf blades, fluffs up the blades and gives the finishing touch to make your yard look better than the day it was installed!

Step 9, The final step, we spray the turf with an non-toxic, biodegradable solution to maintain a fresh smelling,  outdoor oasis for weeks to come.   We use an enzyme based solution that not only kills the nasty odors in your turf, it also eliminates viruses such as influenza, staphylococcus aureus, e-coli, and salmonella.
